Issue
When opening a workbook, or interacting with filters on the dashboard, the below error will frequently appear:

[SQLSTATE:42710] database alias name 'dbxxxx' already in use

Environment
- Tableau Server 2023.1 and newer
- Windows Server 2019
Resolution
Option 1
Upgrade to Tableau Server 2023.3.2, 2023.1.9 or later.Option 2
Use an extract rather than a live data source as a workaround.Cause
