When connecting to a CSV file having columns that contain line-feed codes, the layout of the imported data is incorrect.

Resolution
To handle data containing line-feed codes in CSV format, follow the steps below.1. When preparing CSV files, columns containing line-feed codes should be enclosed in a text qualifier such as double quotation marks (").
2. Open Tableau Desktop and select the Text file connector and connect to the CSV file.
3. On the canvas, click the table drop-down arrow and select Text File Properties.
4. Change Text qualifier as you need.
