How to Revert Field Names and Capitalization Changes

Question

After reading data in Tableau Desktop, field names that are capitalized are converted to lower case except for the beginning letter. Letters following the non-alphabetic character remain capitalized.

For example:

Original Field Name	Field Name in Tableau Desktop
PC1	Pc1
COUNTRY_NAME	Country Name

Answer

Using [Reset Name] option can help to undo changes.
To undo changes manually, follow the steps.

1. Open the workbook and go to the [Data Source] page.
2. Press Ctrl+Click (Windows) or Command+Click (Mac) to select the rows with changes you want to undo.
3. Click the drop-down arrow for one of the rows selected, and select [Reset Names].
