IssueWhen publishing a workbook, the following error might occur: You do not have permission to publish to this server. Contact your Tableau Server administrator for access.
ResolutionAs a Tableau Server administrator, perform the following steps: Confirm the user can publish to the site Log in to Tableau Server.Go to Users > (user name) > ... > Site Role > Publisher. Note: If Tableau Server has multiple sites configured, ensure the user has the Publisher permissions for the site that hosts the desired project. Confirm the user has project level permissions Log in to Tableau Server.Go to Content > Projects > (project name) > … > Permissions > (user name) > … > Edit, and then set Project Permissions to Publisher. Confirm the group the user belongs to is not explicitly denied publish permissions Log in to Tableau Server.Go to Content > Projects > (project name) > … > Permissions > (group) > … > Edit, and then set Project Permissions to Publisher or None
