Option 2

Update the MySQL credentials for each data source in Tableau Cloud and then do a save as on the workbook choose embedded credentials:
  1. In Tableau Cloud select to Edit the workbook.
  2. Select any sheet in the workbook to see the data source list.
  3. Select the first data source in the list and choose edit data source from that data source’s menu.
  4. In the connection window that now appears. Select the data source menu again and select edit connection.
  5. Populate the password and select sign in.
  6. Select any sheet
  7. Repeat for all of the data sources in the list.
  8. This is the most important step. Select File and choose SAVE AS
  9. Type in the same workbook name as you just edited (so it overwrites the existing workbook).
  10. Select the embed password for data source check box.
  11. Click save.
  12. Click Yes to overwrite the existing workbook.
  13. Click file close
  14. Navigate to the views and create the alert.
