Viz in Tooltip Does Not Refresh

Issue

When using a single worksheet as a "Viz in Tooltip" on multiple worksheets on a dashboard, the "Viz in Tooltip" may not refresh as expected when hovering over marks.

Resolution

Option 1

Upgrade to Tableau Desktop 2018.2 or a later version. For more information, see Upgrading Tableau Desktop in Tableau Help.

Option 2

As a workaround, create a separate Viz in Tooltip worksheet for each worksheet on the dashboard. For example, instead of using the "Detail" worksheet as a Viz in Tooltip on "A", "B", and "C", duplicate the "Detail" worksheet as "Detail A", "Detail B", and "Detail C" and apply to each worksheet separately.
