Viewer and Explorer Users are Unable to View the My Account Settings Page on Tableau Cloud

When a Viewer or Explorer user attempts to look at their My Account Settings page on Tableau Cloud, the following error occurs:

That page could not be accessed.
Either the user does not exist or you do not have the necessary permission.


  • Tableau Cloud
  • Viewer or Explorer user


  • The Known Issue ID 1498968 will be fixed in an upcoming release.
  • Remove the "Limited" restriction of the user on the site User Visibility setting.


The site User Visibility setting is set to Limited which causes this issue and is being investigated and fixed under Known Issue ID 1498968.
