User from Secondary Active Directory Domain Assigned to Primary Domain and Unable to Log In

When using multiple Active Directory domains with Tableau Server, and adding a user from the secondary AD domain, the user is successfully added. However, the user shows the primary domain assigned to it on the Users page. The user is also unable to login to Tableau Server.

Correct the primary domain's nickname mapping using "tabcmd editdomain". For more information about this command, see editdomain in Tableau Help. 


The domain nickname for the primary domain has been mistakenly updated to use the secondary domain's nickname.
