Issue
When rendering a dashboard to PDF from Tableau Server or Tableau Desktop, the date selection from a filter is large and causes the image to be distorted.

- Tableau Desktop 2018.1

- Windows 7
- Excel
Resolution
Follow the steps below:- Open the dashboard in Tableau Desktop.
- Right click on the filter that is generating the large text.
- Select "Format Filters…"
- On the Formatting frame that opens to the left, click the "Font" drop-down list.
- Select the size you would like the text to appear as.
- Test your output by exporting to PDF and reviewing the results.
- Republish the dashboard to Tableau Server with these formatting changes saved, if necessary.
