Resolution
Ensure that the Tableau Server REST API is enabled.tsm configuration set -k api.server.enabled -v true
tsm pending-changes apply
Restart the Tableau Catalog.
Cause
The security hardening step to disable the REST API for the Tableau Server installation will interfere with Tableau Catalog functions.
