Unable to Generate Log Snapshot via Tableau Server UI for Cluster with Three or More Nodes

After upgrading a Tableau Server 3 or more node cluster, you are unable to generate logs from the Status page. Selecting 'Generate Snapshot' will result in an infinitely spinning icon.

The following exception is found in the Tableau Server logs:
com.tableausoftware.tabctl.dll.Exception: Unable to access the service control manager (5)


Tableau Server 10.5.6, 2018.1.3, 2018.1.4 


This behavior is related to known issue ID 820393 and was resolved in the 10.5.9, 2018.1.6 and 2018.2.3 releases of Tableau Server, and all more recent versions.
