Unable to Edit Data Source Filter on the Web When Data Source Name Includes the Right Square Bracket

Issue

The Edit Data Source Filters dialog does not allow selecting the "Add Filter" button on Tableau Server in Web Edit mode when the data source name includes a right square bracket("]").

The following error will occur:

Unexpected Server Error
TableauException: Error parsing command parameter value string

Resolution

Use the data source name without the right square bracket.

Cause

The Tableau Server Known Issue with ID 1504019 is currently under investigation.
