Unable to Access Tableau Cloud or Tableau Public

Issue

When you try to access Tableau Cloud or Tableau Public, it might not be possible to access the sign in page, or after you sign in to Tableau Cloud or Tableau Public, you might be signed out again, and the following error might occur:
 
Session timed out due to inactivity.

  • Tableau Public

Resolution

Tableau Cloud and Tableau Public might be undergoing maintenance. Check the Tableau Cloud and Tableau Public service status on the TABLEAU TRUST - CURRENT STATUS page.
