Unable To Access or Activate Tableau Cloud Site After Purchase

When initially making a purchase for Tableau Cloud, you are unable to login or activate your initial Tableau Cloud site. Users are also not able to login until the site is activated.

  1. Check your email inbox for the initial site administrator, who will have received a site activation email.
  2. Activate the site through this email activation link, the administrator can add users to the site using the Add Users to a Site Article.

If you are unable to locate the initial site activation link in your inbox, contact your Account Representative who can request it to be resent by our Customer Service Team.


The site has not yet been activated through the Tableau Cloud site activation email.
