Issue

When you extract the calendar data from Salesforce to Prep, there is a difference in the time.
For example the following example:
  In Salesforce   : 2022/01/18 12:00 - 2022/01/18 13:00 (image1)
  In Tableau Prep : 2022/01/18 03:00 - 2022/01/18 04:00 (image2)

Environment

  • Tableau Prep Builder
  • Salesforce.com

Resolution

Use the following DATEADD function as a workaround for the target time data:

DATEADD('hour', X, [Time Data])
* X = Set the time zone value that is set in Salesforce.

Example:
In Salesforce, if we set up the Time Zone to (GMT+9:00), use DATEADD('hour', 9, [Time Data]).

Cause

This feature is not built in Tableau Prep yet.
