Issue
When connect to a TDS/TDSX file, Tableau Prep Builder shows Text File as a connector and no data and table information included.

Resolution
Workaround
1. Connect to the TDS/TDSX file from Tableau Desktop and publish to Tableau Server/Cloud.2. Connect to the published datasource from Tableau Prep Builder.
Cause
TDS/TDSX is not supported by Tableau Prep Builder as designed, but if the file is drag and dropped into Tableau Prep Builder it may show some text files with error.Thank you for providing your feedback on the effectiveness of the article.
