The Tableau Prep Builder Connect to Server is not visible along with some expected data connectors. The error can display stating:
Unable to load additional connectors.

Resolution
Install Tableau Prep Builder on another machine where Tableau Server is not installed.Cause
Tableau Prep Builder and Tableau Server have conflicts and are not to be installed together as noted in the Tableau Online Help Before You Install.Additional Information
Before You InstallImportant: Do not install Tableau Prep Builder and Tableau Server on the same computer. However, it is recommended that you install Tableau Prep Builder on the same machine as Tableau Desktop.
