Subscription Emails Contain Wrong Image or Subject

If you receive multiple subscriptions, you may see the wrong workbook or view image when opening a subscription email in some email clients.

As a workaround, click on the image to open the view a browser. Tableau Server will render the view correctly.


This behavior is related to a known issue with ID 875450 which is currently under investigation. 

Additional Information

The cached images that are incorrectly displayed, do not appear to be from reports which the user has not received subscriptions for, nor any they do not have permission to access.
