ResolutionOne of the following steps might solve the issue:
- If WebEx is installed on the computer running Tableau Desktop, uninstall the WebEx plug-in.
- Go to System Preferences > Network > Advanced. On the Proxies tab, clear Automatic Proxy Configuration.
- If using a Wacom tablet or other alternative input device, upgrade to Tableau Desktop 8.2.1 or disconnect the device, and then open Tableau Desktop. For more information, see Upgrading Tableau Desktop in the Tableau Knowledge Base.
CauseTableau Desktop 8.2.0 that is running on OS X is not compatible with some alternative input devices, like a Wacom tablet.
