Tableau Desktop 2023.x - No Site Picker Prompt when Activating Product using Server option - LBLM

Issue

There is no prompt to select sites in the embedded browser box within Tableau Desktop version 2023.x. When the user is trying to activate the product by signing in to Tableau Server (LBLM), after the user logs in, the option to select sites does not display. The product will automatically pick a site that might not be the site desired for activation.

Resolution

The workaround is to enter the Server URL including the Site name to activate the product directly specifying the site as shown in this example:

https://<Tableau server URL>/#/site/<Site name>/home
