An error occurs when a partitioned table in Amazon Athena is used in Tableau Desktop:

Follow these steps to replace the driver :
  1. Remove the current Athena driver .jar file from C:\Program Files\Tableau\Drivers.
  2. Download and install the Amazon Athena 2.0.5 or newer driver. For more information, see Amazon Athena under Driver Download


This behavior is related to a known issue with the Athena JDBC 2.0.2 driver.
