Some Emoji Do Not Display After Upgrading Tableau Desktop

After upgrading to Tableau Desktop 2019.1 or 2019.2, emoji are not always displayed as expected and observed in previous versions of Tableau Desktop.

Instead of the expected emoji being displayed, a missing character mark may be displayed instead.

While the issue is being investigated, as a workaround, open the affected workbook in Tableau Desktop 2018.3 (or earlier versions).

If the workbook has already been modified and saved in Tableau Desktop 2019.1 or 2019.2, use File - Export As Version to save in 2018.3 (or earlier) format.

This behavior is related to a known issue identified by the Issue ID 893817 which is currently under investigation.
