ResolutionThese are potential workarounds: Option 1 Close all instances of Tableau Desktop and Tableau PrepOpen Tableau Desktop, navigate to "Help" > "Settings and Performance" > "Clear Saved Server Sign-Ins"Log into Tableau Server from Tableau Desktop Option 2 - Clearing Tableau Desktop logs Make sure that Tableau Desktop is not running. Close all the open Tableau Desktop windows if there is any.Navigate to C:\Users\<User Name>\Documents\My Tableau RepositoryDelete 'Logs' folder. The new "Logs" folder will be created in the My Tableau Repository folder upon starting the Tableau Desktop. Option 3 Make sure that "Allow clients to automatically connect to Tableau Server." is checked on Tableau Server settings.In the site menu, click Manage All Sites, and then click Settings > General.Under Connected Clients, check the option Allow clients to automatically connect to Tableau Server.Click Save.
