Showing Top 10 and Bottom 10 of a Dimension Based on a Measure

How to show the top 10 and bottom 10 of a dimension, based on a measure.


  1. Place the desired dimensions on the view and sort them in the desired order.
  2. Create a calculated field similar to the following:
    if last()<=10 then 'Bottom 10'
    elseif index()<=10 then 'Top 10'
    else 'hide'
  3. Place this calculation on the view.
  4. Right-click on one of the "hide" members of this calculation and select Hide.
