Search Filter Dropdown Not Showing All Results After Published to Tableau Cloud

Issue

When entering a search value into a filter drop-down list in a dashboard, all filter values are not appearing for the filter.

Environment

  • Tableau Cloud
  • Filters

Resolution

Hover over the filter, select the burger icon, and select All Values in Database as opposed to the Only Relevant Values option.

Cause

The All Values in Database option is not selected for the filter.
