Polygon Marks Are Absent/empty When All Coordinate Points Are On The Same Straight Line

Issue

Line with two coordinate points on a straight line does not plot when polygon mark is selected.
Example: When plotting a line with same X coordinates on a straight line and different Y coordinates.

Resolution

Option 1 :

Choose a Line mark type instead of a Polygon when plotting only lines on the view

Option 2:

If plotting both Polygons and lines on the view, use a border to highlight the lines .

Click on Color in Marks and choose a border

Cause

Lines cannot be plot with a Polygon type as Polygon shades the area of the polygon but the polygon described in this case has no area to shade. This behavior is expected when two coordinate points are on a straight line.
