Partial data showing in the dashboard when using Google Sheet Data Source

Resolution

Limit the number of the users who could view, edit, or comment on a Google Sheets at the same time less than 100.

Cause

This is the limitation from Google drive. Up to 100 people with view, edit, or comment permissions can work on a Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides file at the same time.

Additional Information

To connect Tableau Desktop to Google sheet, please be aware the following:

1) The Google Sheets connector does not support Google shared drives.

2) Tableau doesn't support pivot tables in Google Sheets.

3) Data limit in Google Drive:
Google Drive supports a limited number of cells (in the millions) for spreadsheets that are created in or converted to Google Sheets. For more information, see Files you can store in Google Drive(Link opens in a new window) in the Google Drive Help.

2) Up to 100 people can read and write the Google sheet at the same time.
