ResolutionUpgrade to Tableau Desktop 2019.3.1 or later
or in the meantime there is a workaround:
Add the port specification ":443" to the end of https://mapsconfig.tableau.com in the .tms file, for example:
<connection class="MapboxVector" data-url="v4" offline="" params-url="https://mapsconfig.tableau.com:443/v1/config.json" port="443" server="https://api.mapbox.com" url="styles/v1"/>
This file can be found in Documents\My Tableau Repository\Mapsources.
CauseThis is a known issue what is fixed in a recent version of Tableau Desktop.
Additional InformationAccording to the internet access requirements documentation, all Mapping communication is supposed to be made with SSL, For more information, see Internet Access Requirements.
