Multiple Errors When Connecting to Progress OpenEdge Database

When trying to connect to Progress OpenEdge database, the following error might occur: 

Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Datasource name not found and no default driver specified occurs.

Additionally, when you try to sign into Tableau Bridge, the following error might occur: 

Incorrect user name or password for this data source. Confirm that you have the appropriate permissions and re-enter your crendentials.

Download and add the .tdc file attached to this article (called Openedge.tdc) in the datasources folder in the Tableau Repository folder.


The Progress package of drivers are not recognized by Tableau. This is issue is currently under investigation (ID: 679695.)
