Existing refresh schedules are removed at the destination after the migration using Content Migration Tool if no refresh schedule is selected.

  • Tableau Server

As a workaround is to select a refresh schedule when configuring the migration.

The Content Migration Tool is designed such that when you don't select a refresh schedule the workbook/extract is rewritten as not having a refresh schedule at all. In this case, the migration tool assumes that there should be no refresh schedule for the migrated workbook/extract and acts accordingly by design.

Additional Information

The ability to retain an existing refresh schedule when migrating content and not selecting a refresh schedule is functionality not currently built into the product.
