Long "Executing Query" Or Fail to Refresh Extract When Connecting to Amazon Redshift

When connecting to Amazon Redshift with the ODBC driver 1.4.34, Then query time is long and could not return data.
Or the refresh extract does not finish for a long time and looks stalled.

Please use ODBC Driver 1.4.10 and connect to Amazon Redshift.
The steps are as follows:

For Mac:
1. Download an earlier driver 1.4.10 from the Amazon website. The direct download link for driver 1.4.10 is:

2. Find the path where Amazon Redshift ODBC driver is installed from the file "odbcinst.ini" under this path: /Library/ODBC/
Delete the whole Amazon Redshift ODBC driver folder and its subfolders.

3. Delete the entries related to Amazon Redshift in the ini file "odbcinst.ini" under this path:
Save the change.

4. Install Amazon Redshift ODBC driver 1.4.10

5. Restart Tableau Desktop

6. Try to connect to your Amazon Redshift database
