When Country.tds is opened in Tableau Desktop, the following error occurs:

Internal Error - An unexpected error occurred and the operation could not be completed

Resolution
As a workaround, use Tableau Desktop 2019.3 or older.Cause
The geocoding storage format changed from Firebird to Hyper in Tableau 2020.1, and connecting a workbook directly to the geocoding database is not supported.Thank you for providing your feedback on the effectiveness of the article.
