Issue

When an Amazon Redshift extract refresh is scheduled to run, the refresh is failing with an

"Unknown Failure."

An error similar to the following is displayed in Background Tasks for Extracts when hovering over the refresh failure: 

"Operation cancelled. [Amazon][Amazon Redshift] (30) Error occurred while trying to execute a query: [SQLState 57014] ERROR: Query (number) cancelled on user's request”

Environment

Resolution

Work with the database administrator to increase the WLM timeout (max_execution_time) on the Redshift database.
