Issue
When connecting Tableau Desktop to a PostgreSQL database, the following error may occur:

Resolution
Remove the PostgreSQL JDBC driver (e.g. postgresql-42.2.14.jar) from C:\Program Files\Tableau\Drivers, so the PostgreSQL connector falls back on the PostgreSQL 9.06.05 ODBC driver.Note: If necessary, you can download this driver from https://ftp.postgresql.org/pub/odbc/versions/msi/psqlodbc_09_06_0500-x64.zip
