Issue
When selecting the home button on Tableau Server or Tableau Online, a message similar to the following will occur:
That page could not be accessed.
Either the project does not exist or you do not have the necessary permissions.

Resolution
Set the default start page to a page that exists.- Display the page or filtered view you want to be the default page users see when they sign in to the site.
- Select your profile icon in the upper right area of the page.
- To set the start page for:
- All users on a site: click Set as Start Page and For Users on this Site.
- All users on the server: click Set as Start Page and For All Server Users.
Cause
The default start page is set to a project, workbook, data source, or view that no longer exists.Thank you for providing your feedback on the effectiveness of the article.
