Error "table "[table name]" does not exist" When Failing to Refresh Qualtrics Web Data Connector

When attempting to refresh Qualtrics WDC extract in Tableau Desktop 2019.x that was created in an earlier version, extract creation fails with a generic error, or the error "table "[table name]" does not exist"


  • Tableau Desktop 2019.1, 2019.2
  • Mac OSX 10.13
  • Qualtrics Web Data Connector


  1. Create a brand new connection to the Qualtrics WDC with the fields used in the original extract.
  2. Copy and paste dashboards and worksheets from original workbook into new workbook.
  3. Replace data source to point to new connection. Close old errant extract.
  4. Re-save workbook.
