When attempting to sign-in to Tableau Online from Tableau Desktop, the following error may occur:
Not authorized
(errorCode=10028)
OR
Not authorized
Invalid username or password.
(errorCode=16)

Resolution
Ensure the affected user is added to the Tableau Online site and assigned a licensed site role. For more information, see Set Users' Site Roles.Cause
