Error: "Could not sign in from a connected client application" when starting Tableau Bridge

When starting Tableau Bridge, the following error may occur:
Could not Sign in from a connected client application...
Tableau Bridge 2018.3 or earlier
Try the below options to address or workaround the problem:
Option 1 Upgrade Tableau Bridge to version 20191.19.0204.1456 or a newer version. See Tableau Bridge Releases for more information.
Option 2 Try to re-establish the connection from the Tableau Bridge client by re-adding and saving the credentials.
Option 3 Unlink the Tableau Bridge client, and then relaunch and reassociate it with your Tableau Online site. Note: Unlinking the Bridge will remove all the data sources from the client but the refresh schedules for the data sources will remain in Tableau Online.
Gather a list of all data sources scheduled to refresh using Tableau Bridge.
