IssueWhen creating a backup of Tableau Server using tabadmin commands, the following error might occur: Could not open file "<file name>". Permission Denied
ResolutionOn the computer running Tableau Server, open Windows File Explorer.Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Tableau\Tableau Server\data\tabsvc\pgsql\data\base.Search for the file listed in the error message.Verify that the file exists and the Run As user has the full permissions to modify and write to the folder. If the file is missing, a clean reinstallation of Tableau Server is required to rebuilt the Tableau Server internal database. Uninstall Tableau Server. Delete the Tableau folder. Reinstall Tableau Server. Restore the last good backup. Manually recover any new content that would have been pushed to the server since the time of the last backup.
