Issue

Unable to connect to large Datorama data sources. The following error code may be returned in the error message.

FAB9A2C5

When attempting to generate an extract of the Datorama data in Tableau Desktop an error message may be returned stating the following:

Channel is in state TRANSIENT_FAILURE

Environment

  • Tableau Cloud 
  • Tableau Desktop 2022.4.0
  • Datorama

Resolution

As a workaround, reduce the amount of data pulled through the Datorama driver.

Cause

This is a known issue with the Datorama JDBC driver.
