IssueWhen trying to launch Tableau Bridge (Online Sync) client version 10.5, the following error may occur: An internal error occurred. If the issue persists, contact Tableau Support.
ResolutionRemove Tableau credentials using Credential Manager: Click the Windows Start menu > Control Panel > User Accounts > Manage Windows Credentials.Locate the set of credentials that has Tableau in the name and then expand the corresponding folder.Click Remove.Repeat step 3 for any additional sets of credentials that have the word Tableau in the name. If the above steps do not fully resolve the issue, do the following: Clear connected clients in Tableau Cloud: Log into Tableau Cloud through a web browser. Click on your username in the top right hand corner and choose My Account Settings. Scroll down to Connected Clients. Delete all connections for that computer name. Clear saved Server sign-ins. In Tableau Desktop, navigate to Help > Settings and Performance > Clear Saved Server Sign-ins. Launch Tableau Bridge Client by navigating to Server > Start Tableau Bridge Client.
