Truncate the timestamp in the Vertica database to 1000th of a second or less precision.Cause
Tableau Desktop stores timestamps only to the 1000th of a second precision, which looks like 2017-03-09 16:35:08.000.- Vertica databases can store the timestamp to a higher level of precision.
- Sometimes the last timestamp in the extract is rounded down, which means that the full timestamp in Vertica is technically after the last timestamp in the Tableau extract.
