Upgrade to Tableau Desktop 2018.2 or a later version. For more information about upgrading, see Upgrade Tableau Desktop in Tableau Help.

Option 2

As a workaround, update the union Text File Properties Locale from Norwegian Bokmål (Norway) to using Norwegian Nyorsk (Norway) using the following steps:

  1. Open the workbook in Tableau Desktop.
  2. Navigate to the “Data Source” tab.
  3. Click on the down arrow near the union name.
  4. Select “Text File Properties”.
  5. Click on the down arrow in the field “Locale”.
  6. Select locale Norwegian Nyorsk (Norway) from the list.
  7. Review the workbook to ensure no changes have occurred.

This behavior is related to a known issue with ID 738329, which has been corrected in Tableau Desktop 2018.2.0.
