Background map does not appear if cache is removed or if a new computer is used.

Mapbox background maps cannot be displayed on certain versions of Tableau Desktop if cache is removed or if a new computer is used. No error messages are displayed. Additionally, mapbox_tile_cache located in C\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Tableau\Caching does not increase in size when the map mark layer is displayed.

Upgrade to Tableau Desktop 2022.2.15 or 2022.3.12 or later. 


This is a known issue that is fixed in Tableau Desktop 2022.2.15 or 2022.3.12. 
For Tableau Desktop 2022.1.x, the known issue is being worked on by W-14890169.

If it is not a new computer, this issue may or may not occur. Please check first to see if the issue occurs with the latest maintenance release.
