After Rebooting Tableau Server 2018 on Linux, TSM Services Do Not Start

In Tableau Server on Linux installations where the unprivileged user is an Active Directory account, after rebooting the Tableau Server host machine, TSM commands result in error:
 "Could not connect to TSM Controller at  <TableauServer>:8850" and the output of "systemctl --user status tabadmincontroller" is "Failed to get D-Bus connection: No such file or directory".

To resolve this issue, upgrade Tableau Server to v2018.2.7, v2018.3.3, or later.



In environments where the unprivileged user (by default, Tableau Server creates this user on install and initialization as a local user, named tableau) is an Active Directory user, this user is still mapped to the systemd user. When the server machine is rebooted, if the systemd user starts to run before the third party tools used to monitor its access to the internal network, the user will stop trying to run before it can connect with Centrify, and Tableau Server will not start.  
This issue is resolved in more recent versions of Tableau Server.

To help identify this issue, review the output of these commands:
sudo su -l <unprivileged user>
systemctl --user status tabadmincontroller_0
The output that matches this issue will be "Failed to get D-Bus connection: No such file or directory"
