After Migration to Salesforce Community Platform Content May be Missing

After the 6/29/20 migration from the previous Tableau Community platform hosted on JIVE to a new Salesforce Community Cloud platform, users have reported that certain content is missing from the new site.

Users have also reported that when searching for Tableau Community content in a search engine such as Google, the results they click on are returning an error message "URL Not Found". A similar result may be experienced if trying to access a bookmarked URL.

Tableau is currently working on resolving these issues of missing content.

In relation to search engine results, search engines such as Google, Bing etc. are continuing to index the site to update their search engine results.

Some workarounds to try: 
  • Search Engines have cached results which offer a cached version of the webpage. For information on how to do this on Google see the following Google Help link: View web pages cached in Google Search Results
  • You may be able to find missing content on the Community by searching for it using the embedded search on the site.


The site migration is still incomplete.
