Error "Missing password. Invalid username or password" Refreshing Snowflake Extracts in Tableau Online or Tableau Server 2018.2

When refreshing an extract connected to a Snowflake data source in Tableau Online or Tableau Server 2018.2, the refresh tasks fails with the following error:
Missing password. Invalid username or password.
Tableau Server 2018.2
Tableau Online 2018.2
Option 1 1. Download the affected workbook or data source locally and open in Tableau Desktop 2018.1 or later. 2. Re-embed the Snowflake database credentials. 3. Republish workbook to Tableau Online or Tableau Server, overwriting the previous workbook.
Option 2 1. Download each affected workbook locally and open in any version of Tableau Desktop. 2. Refresh the Snowflake extract from Tableau Desktop by right clicking on the data source and navigating to Extract > Refresh 3. Republish workbook to Tableau Online or Tableau Server, overwriting the previous workbook.
The error is occurring due to an authentication mismatch after the extract successfully refreshes the first time. This behavior is caused by a known issue, ID 806157, which is currently under investigation. See, Known Issues, ID 806157.
