Issue
Currently, the ability to refresh the COVID-19 data set (WDC) from our data hub is not currently built into Tableau Cloud or Bridge.

Resolution
As alternative options for workarounds, utilize the following:- Under the Connect to Covid-19 activity data section, the AWS data exchange option.
- As an alternative workaround, you can utilize the Tableau Public page which should contain up to date data as well via a publicly hosted dashboard.
Cause
WDCs with non-basic authentication are currently not supported to refresh in Tableau Cloud, or Tableau Bridge.Thank you for providing your feedback on the effectiveness of the article.
