Unable To Access or Activate Tableau Online Site After Purchase

When initially making a purchase for Tableau Online, you are unable to login or activate your initial Tableau Online site. Users are also not able to login until the site is activated.


  • Tableau Online


  1. Check your email inbox for the initial site administrator, who will have received a site activation email.
  2. Activate the site through this email activation link, the administrator can add users to the site using the Add Users to a Site Article.

If you are unable to locate the initial site activation link in your inbox, contact Customer Service who can resend the site activation email to your initial site administrator email.


The site has not yet been activated through the Tableau Online site activation email.
