Tableau Server Cannot Connect To Hyper With "whitelist-Check-Error" "tcp-Ip-Client-Rejected"

Issue

Tableau Server fails to connect to hyper extracts, and error message displays when opening the views:

"Hyper API: Could not connect to the Hyper server.
The Hyper server closed the connection unexpectedly.
The server process may have been shut down or terminated before or while processing the request."

Environment

  • Tableau Server

Resolution

Upgrade to Tableau Server 2019.4.6 or later. 

Cause

This is a known issue that is corrected in more recent version of Tableau Server.
